I swear, one of these days I'm going to quit having to put "it's been a while...". But for now, it'll get done when it can! On the last post, I had put that we ended up in the ER with Logan, well I guess I was next in line bc I ended up with a strange infection and in the ER dehydrated. I'm believe I'm finally getting past it all. Third time on medicine's a charm right?!
The boys are out of daycare now- which a much more of a blessing than you could know. They are staying at someone's home who also has a little boy Logan's age. She is great with them and we are so happy it's working out for all of us. The boys are learning good things instead of bad and are not getting sick near as often (knock on wood). They are also loving their new playmate, Joseph. Camden is also enjoying riding to school in the mornings with Brayden (Thanks Buzzy and Kerri!). He asks every night if he gets to go to Brayden and Malia's in the morning. All in all, we're extremely thankful for the new childcare arrangements... and I KNOW Camden and Logan are too.
Let's see... Camden is really loving Kindergarten and learning so much! He loves reading and wont hardly let us read to him now because he wants to do it! Cant complain about that. The other day I was holding up a cereal box, to which Camden informed me was a rectangular prism. Wasnt really expecting that one! We just got him signed up for soccer, which starts at the end of Feb, so I'm sure we'll have some more to post about that later.
Logan is growing like crazy as well. He has such a big personality and charms us all the time. He is doing great with potty training and it wont be long before we're headed to his sports events also! He's getting so much better at his speach and pronounciation. Yesterday he asked Nate if he could have a snack, Nate told him no since we were about to eat, and he looked him strait in the eye and said "why?" He also loves singing "we will rock you" that his big brother taught him.
Nate just got back from traveling for work. He went to KC and IL and got a chance to see family. I think Logan's becoming more aware of things because he wouldnt hardly sleep while Daddy was gone. Everyone keeps telling me how great it is to have boys because they love and take care of their mama's. I'm guessing that comes later on because I've never seen two boys be more enthralled with their Daddy! Nate's still reading up on his coaching books and looking into programs for his masters and/or teaching certifications for later.
I'm still trucking along with my job and enjoying it. I auditioned at an agency here in Dallas a few weeks ago. They had me read a scene from Clueless, so I had to channel my inner Valleygirl. They sent me a contract for representation, but in the end I wasnt able to work anything out with my supervisors since I dont have time off this year, being a new employee. It was a little heartbreaking for me, but in the end, I had to tell them I couldnt at this time. I was told to call back if I changed my mind, so maybe I can pursue that later on when the timing is right. I'm hoping to start some college courses in the fall as well!
That about sums us up for the moment.. I guess I did this backwards, but I'll post some pictures from Christmas break, etc, also...
